On Saturday, October 17th at 2pm Alaska Native artist-in-residence Pamela Johnson (Tlingit) will give an artist talk entitled, “Cultural Identity Through Fabric: A History of Robes”.
The talk will focus on her research on traditional Tlingit ceremonial garments and her own experience making traditional Tlingit button robes and vests. The talk will be on Zoom and is part of the Alaska Native Artist Residency Program.
