Tuesday August 4th at 5pm is the planned closing time for the public survey to vote on input re: city seal. The survey is available online for public input – you can access it by going HERE
The City and Borough of Sitka is continuing the City Seal Redesign Project, an effort launched in the beginning of 2020 to redesign the official city seal. Contest entries submitted in March were selected to move forward for consideration.
There have been three opportunities for public engagement:
- 7/29 – Public Viewing – There will be an open house for the public to view contest entries on Wednesday, July 29th from 5pm to 7pm at Harrigan Centennial Hall. Entries will be on display, and a survey available for members of the public to fill out.
- Now till 8/4 – Survey – The survey is also available online now until 5pm Tuesday, August 4th. It can be accessed at: forms.gle/yqx2EKKSKWoypvw76
- 7/30 – Zoom Discussion – A guided discussion on the entries will be hosted over Zoom on Thursday, July 30th starting at 7pm. For those who would like to participate, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for the meeting link.
