Film to be shown in Anchorage – Moment to Moment: Teens Growing Up with FASDs takes in intimate and eye-opening journey into the lives of four adolescents with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, their families, and friends. Their impaired brain function can make it much harder to meet the typical demands of social relationships and independence and many individuals with an FASD get in trouble with the law for reasons they do not understand. There will be a panel discussion with Q & A after the film. Presented by: Alaska Center for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. Film to be shown in Anchorage at the Beartooth on 9/17, event information at: www.facebook.com/events/2141195962803073/.
