Saturday, Nov. 23 from 6-8pm @naakahidicommunityhouse – Join us for a celebration of Native American Heritage Month through traditional native dance! The Sheet’ká Ḵwáan Dancers, Mt. Edgecumbe High School Yup’ik Dancers, Mt. Edgecumbe High School Iñupiaq Dancers, Mt. Edgecumbe High School Athabascan Dancers and others will perform.
This event is open to all; donations would be appreciated and accepted at the door to benefit the participating dance groups.
Gunálcheesh to Tribal Tours for their sponsorship of this event and to the Sheet’ká Ḵwáan Naa Kahídi Community House for hosting.

“Our dance groups had a great time performing at the Recovery Month Potlatch last night. We have 50 students involved in our dance groups this year! The Yup’ik Dance Group had to split into three groups because they wouldn’t fit on stage. Also, two of our students won the potato dance.”
