The Friends of Sheldon Jackson Museum will host an opening reception/ artist talk for the new solo exhibition by Alaska Native artist, Peter Williams (Yup’ik). The Talk will be presented on Saturday, January 16th at 3pm. To participate, please follow the Zoom Link.

Saturday, Feb. 6th at 2:00pm – Annual Meeting & Storytelling of “Tuntuq” presented by June Pardue.
Join us on Saturday, February 6th at 2:00pm for the Friends’ Annual Meeting on Zoom and guest speaker June Pardue (Alutiiq) as she tells the story of “Tuntuq.” Following a brief business meeting at 2:00 (with the announcement of the winner of the membership drive giveaway), Pardue will give her presentation. Membership Drive Giveaway – The Friends are conducting a membership drive giveaway until February 5th. Anyone purchasing or renewing a membership will be entered in a drawing for a signed print by Allie High (Tsimshian, Haida) or an Athabascan style beaded barrette (artist unknown.) Winners will be announced at the annual meeting February 6th.
