Sitka Spelling Bee Feb. 24

Description

Wednesday, Feb. 24th – The Sitka Public Library and the Friends of the Library are hosting the Sitka Spelling Bee from 7-8:30pm. We are providing early notice to give Sitkans an opportunity to find a partner and practice their spelling “chops.”

The event will be staged at the Centennial Building with the teams (either one or two persons each) socially distanced apart.

There will be a host who will read the questions, a judge, and a timer. The event will be live on a Zoom feed so the public may watch. This is a fundraiser so teams will have an entry fee and several options for “life lines” that will also cost them.
