Filming Artist Delores Churchill

Ten years ago, Artchange, Inc. finished the film “Tracing Roots” with the amazing #DeloresChurchill. Our focus in that film was on Haida elder and master weaver Delores Churchill. “Tracing Roots” had an encore screening in Juneau Spring 2024 at the Gold Town Nickelodeon.
A few weeks ago, Artchange, Inc. and 14milesalaska picked up the camera again and headed to Hydaburg to film Delores working with Ben Young on language preservation, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the @1stpeoplesfund!
