Our produce has been placed on the barge and here is a list of what we have as “extras” that ***as long as produce arrives in good condition*** will be available Tuesday 05/30 on Delivery Day! For members, you need to request your “extra” produce in advance of the delivery. Some of the “extra” produce items for the May 30th delivery are:
- Star Ruby Grapefruit
- Red Bell Peppers
- Yellow Onions
- Ataúlfo Mangoes
- Zucchini

Remember – we are ordering produce weekly. Ordering opens each Thursday (closes on Saturday 06/03 at midnight for delivery on 06/13/23).
Ed. note – Produce Spotlight: Per Wikipedia – The ‘Ataúlfo’ mango is a mango cultivar from Mexico. Ataulfo mangos are golden yellow and generally weigh between 6 and 10 ounces (170 and 280 grams), with a somewhat sigmoid (oblong) shape and a gold-yellow skin. The flesh is not fibrous, and the pit is thin. They were named for grower Ataulfo Morales Gordillo. Since August 27, 2003, the Ataulfo mango is one of the 18 Mexican Designations of Origin.[4]The Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (Instituto Mexicano de la Propiedad Industrial) granted the designation of origin of this fruit to the government of Chiapas.
