During the summer of 2022, Visit Sitka hosted the team of the PBS show “Samantha Brown’s Places to Love.” The two-time Emmy Award-winning series will air the episode visiting Alaska on Sunday, Jan. 15th on PBS; check local listings for exact date/times.
This episode Samantha introduces viewers to the exceptional people and places of Alaska, including Juneau, Icy Strait Point, Sitka and Ketchikan, and discovers the abundance of creativity, personality, and culture across the state.
