Our communities are strongest when we work together and invest in what matters most.

Join Sitka Public Library & Sitka Conservation Society, with support from Hames Corporation, for a free distribution to Sitka youth of 100 breakfasts and 100 copies of Berry Song, plus a reading by local author, illustrator and Caldecott-award winner Michaela Goade.

Youth ages 0-18 are invited to come by Sitka Public Library on Saturday, August 6th at 11am to pick up a to-go breakfast and this beautiful and educational story. Quantities will be distributed first come, first served.

Michaela’s new book Berry Song is a joyous celebration of the connections between people and the land and foods that sustains us all. Published in 2022,
