Sitka Salmon Derby

Catch  a prize-winning fish in the sparkling waters of Sitka over the long Memorial Day Weekend and following weekend. Cash and prizes are given out at our award ceremony.  Sponsored by the Sitka Sportsman’s Association. See Sitka Salmon Derby on Facebook. 

•  Memorial Day weekend 2023 – Saturday, May 27, Sunday May 28 & Monday 29.
•  And the following weekend – Saturday, June 3 & Sunday June 4

This is a family event with many people in our community and from all over the country that look forward each year to participating in the Derby, with hopes of catching “the big one”, or at the very least winning some great prizes.
