Assistant Nurse Manager / RN

The Assistant Nurse Manager/RN position is a developmental mentorship opportunity for an experienced RN to work in an entry level nurse management position. This position will work in an assistant management role for 0.6 of their time and as a clinical nurse on inpatient for 0.4 of their time.

This role will assist the nurse manager in a variety of management functions including (but not limited to) the supervision of staff, meeting management, scheduling, and point of care training. As an RN, this position will perform a variety of nursing care procedures for patients of all ages, requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments; and the ability to work independently in completing assignments

Guidelines include implementing provider’s orders; standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, hospital policies, and nursing duties including support to individuals of all ages and their families.
