Job Description

We’re looking for an Outreach Fellow to start in the fall of 2024!

This position is part of the Alaska Fellows Program, a fall-to-spring residential fellowship that pairs young professionals with public sector or nonprofit organizations in Alaska. AFP helps reverse “brain drain” in Alaska by connecting born-and-raised Alaskans with high-impact opportunities and by attracting young, community-oriented individuals to the state. Fellows receive stipends and housing while living communally and working closely with communities and professional mentors.

Outer Coast seeks an Outreach Fellow to help build the relationships — philanthropic, programmatic, and administrative — that we need to operate day-to-day and grow sustainably into the future. This position will be all the more critical as Outer Coast moves into its first year of the two-year undergraduate program in 2024. We invest heavily in the personal and professional development of our team and are searching for curious, motivated young people who are enthusiastic about our mission to reimagine higher education in Alaska.

Sounds like you or someone you know? The applications review process will begin on Monday, March 11, 2024 – Submit application prior to ensure consideration!

  • An additional informational webinar about the Alaska Fellows Program will be held on Wed. Feb. 28 @ 11am Alaska Standard Time. Register HERE
