The Emergency Shelter Program will begin operating on December 1st, and we are looking for compassionate and passionate candidates who are interested and excited to facilitate a safe and peaceful environment in a seasonal position at the shelter this winter!

We are seeking candidates who are compassionate, confident, communicative, and committed to advocating for those experiencing homelessness. Please explore our current employment openings and join us in our mission to provide warm, safe shelter to those in need in Sitka! We are currently hiring for our Shelter Monitor position at our Winter Shelter Program.
Shelter Monitors are expected to be at the shelter from 8:30pm to 8:30am at least 3 times a week from December 1st to April 1st. Compensation is a stipend of $225/night. If this is the job for you, we hope to see your application really soon!
