Registered Nurse ~ School Nurse
At Mt. Edgecumbe High School, thru SEARHC
Job Overview: 20 hours per week, primarily on weekends.
Alternating hours on the weekends Sat/Sun 7:30 AM-3:30 PM and 3-11PM. There will also be needs for 4 hours during the week for immunizations and other duties. Start Date 8/14/2023
- This position provides direct technical nursing care to patients in a boarding school ambulatory care setting. Initiates nursing actions and provides comprehensive nursing care to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, and socio-cultural needs to the patient and family. Preserves the patient’s dignity and respects cultural differences.
- Must be able to triage situations in a timely manner. Organized & able to coordinate all aspects of patient care to provide the highest quality of health care services & to promote excellent customer service. Able to react in a calm manner & make sound nursing judgments in an emergency environment. Consults w/appropriate manager/supervisor in difficult situations requiring additional input.
- Rate of Pay: $36.68-$42.57 per hour DOE
