Ocean Wave Quilters Guild

Ocean Wave Quilt Guild in Sitka, Alaska, meets once a month on the first Tuesday of each month, September through June at the United Methodist Church, 303 Kimsham St., Sitka, AK. All are welcome to attend.

Established in the 1980s, the Guild meets nine months out of the year and welcomes everyone regardless of skill level. The group regularly brings in teachers from out of town and hosts monthly open sewing sessions. Proceeds from an annual action plus sales from the guild’s own “Alaska’s Undercover Men Calendar” fund special projects, including college & Sitka Fine Arts Camp scholarships, and benefit cancer survivors, senior citizens and victims of violence.
