We are seeking a dependable Cook to prepare and present nutritious, appealing meals for Sitka’s senior citizens. Duties include: relating to staff, participants and volunteers in a positive manner; supervising and training kitchen staff; ordering food and supplies; preparing meals according to senior nutrition program guidelines; and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen according to Alaska food service regulations. Must obtain State Food Worker’s Card within 10 days of hire.
This position is part-time, 20 hours per week, starting wage $20/hour DOE.
