Cook / Outreach Coordinator

SE Senior Services says, “We are seeking a dependable Outreach Coordinator/Cook to serve Sitka’s senior citizens!”

This position will be expected to outreach to individual seniors to engage with them about how they are doing and educate them on the benefits of the center meals and activities, survey seniors on their needs and interests, build partnerships with community organizations and individuals interested in offering activities at the senior center, organize and schedule activities, plan and prepare meals according to program guidelines, order food and supplies, prepare shopping lists, maintain proper storage systems, ensure that meals meet funding requirements, assure kitchen sanitation, portion and serve mails, assess eligibility for home delivered meals, and other duties as assigned.

This position is Full Time, 37.5 hours/week. 9am-5pm on Mondays, and 6am-2pm Tuesday through Friday. Starting wage $22/hour DOE.
