BLUE BUS FIXED ROUTE SERVICES
Our partner, Sitka Tribe of Alaska, operates the scheduled fixed-route “blue buses” called the RIDE. The RIDE operates 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m, Monday through Friday.

- Blue Line out along Halibut Point Road – 1 hour loop
- Red Line out along Sawmill Creek Road – 1 hour loop
- Green Line through town and over the bridge – 1/2 hour loop
$2.00 per one way ride for adults. $1.00 for seniors or persons with disabilities.

Monthly passes and punch cards can be purchased at Old Harbor Books, SeaMart, and the Sitka Tribe of Alaska (456 Katlian Street).
WHITE BUS CARE-A-VAN PARATRANSIT SERVICES
- Paratransit Care-A-Van (white bus) services for The RIDE are provided by our partner Southeast Senior Services, through the Swan Lake Senior Center.
- Care-A-Van services are operated from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and by reservation only for Saturday and Sunday. Please call a day in advance to make a reservation.
- To be eligible to ride the Care-A-Van white buses you must be at least 60 years old or older and/or have a temporary or permanent disability (for those younger than 60, a document from your doctor is required, and the document must include an expiration date).
- Paratransit fares are $2 one way for riders younger than age 60, and donation requested for riders older than 60.
All of our buses (blue buses and white buses) are wheelchair accessible, and all of our blue buses have bike racks.
