About Us

Sitka Public Library (formerly Kettleson Memorial Library) has been serving the city and borough of Sitka since March 20, 1923, when it opened under the name of Sitka Public Library.

Provides free high-tech and traditional resources to the residents and visitors of Sitka.

As of Monday, April 29, 2024, the Sitka Library changed their hours to be closed on Sunday and to have extended hours two nights per week (Tuesday & Thursday).
