About Us

Formed in partnership by Sitka Conservation Society with UAF Cooperative Extension, Sitka Spruce Tips 4-H has the goal of connecting youth to the natural environment of the Tongass through hands on experiential education and leadership opportunities.

Sitka Spruce Tips 4-H works to connect youth to the natural environment of the Tongass National Forest through hands on experiential education and leadership opportunities. Our program focuses on teaching youth how to live with the land and sea, the Alaskan way. These opportunities are available to school aged children 5-18 years old at a minimal cost thanks to community support.
