Who Are Sitka-based and Willing to Sell Locally Caught Fish

Sitka Tribe of Alaska has funding from the US Department of Agriculture to support local food producers, and will be purchasing multiple species of locally caught seafood in 2024 and 2025 to distribute to its citizens.

The Tribe is seeking Sitka-based commercial fishermen who are interested in participating in this program.

Sitka Tribe of Alaska will begin operating a USDA-funded Local Food Purchasing program beginning in 2024 with the primary goal of supporting Sitka’s local fishermen community, while also providing locally-caught fish to our Tribal Citizens. If you are a local fisherman interested in participating in this program, please complete and submit the form below. This program will operate using Native / Tribal Preference.
