About Us

See Sitka from one end of town to the other, all 15 miles of paved road! Learn about the local Tlingit tribe and their 10,000 years of history here. Delve into the Russian and American period. We will drive along the beautiful coast line, the old Alaska Pulp Mill site, go across the “Bridge to Somewhere” and talk about the WWII history and the local education opportunities provided in Sitka, take in Castle Hill, and drive out to Old Sitka, site of the first Russian occupation in SE Alaska.

We may discuss the local economy and other Alaska subjects of interest to our guests. Stops at the Fortress of the Bears and the Alaska Raptor Center are available if desired, two of the most popular sites in Sitka. (Fee for entry) Along the way you will discover why your guide believes Sitka, the one time Paris of the Pacific, is now the Paris of Alaska.
