A non-profit agency founded in Sitka in 1979 by local Sitka advocates for independent living.  Services we can provide:

In-home support:

• Help with chores, errands, and personal care to maintain independence
• Options for elder care and planning

Early learning:

• For infants and toddlers to age 3, screenings to evaluate and assist with development, hearing, vision, speech, physical progress, and mental wellness

Support for disabilities:

• Personal support and training for persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Lifeline Alarm:

• Personal emergency alarm system for your home.

ATAP Work services:

• Work First and Families First support services, based on your referral from Division of Public Assistance.

Sitka Public Transportation:

• Care-A-Van, door to door service for seniors and those with disabilities
• The RIDE,  scheduled bus service with three routes
